Membership & Friendship
People who want to be fully involved in the life of Peace Lutheran Church join as members by baptism, by affirmation of faith, or by membership transfer from another congregation.
Pastoral Care is offered during times of need. Prayer ministry, basic counseling, hospital visitation, nursing home visitation, and other services are available upon request.
Women of Peace Peace Women of the Word welcome all ladies of Peace into our community of faith and to participate in their Bible Studies and all the other ministries that they do. There are two Bible Study Groups, “Morning Circle” and the “Prayerfully Simple” group meets each month for Bible study and fellowship. You are welcomed to come to either or both studies.
The Morning Circle: meets the seconded Tuesday morning of every month at 9:30 A.M. at
Meadowlark Heights.
The Prayerfully Simple: group meets the second Monday of the month at 7:00. P.M. at the Youth Of Peace
house.
The WOW board meets as needed on the third Monday of the month at 7:00 P.M. in the Parish Hall.
Men of Peace is a monthly breakfast fellowship for men on the second Friday of each month at 7:00 A.M. At the Broken Spoke in Ruskin. The men share a 20 to 30 minute Bible study followed by breakfast. Their studies cover a variety of topics.
Youth of Peace is a ministry with high school youth led by Chandra Hillman. Through worship, study, fellowship and mission projects, high school youth are connected to each other and to God and empowered to make good and Godly decisions in life.
